Things NOT to say or do to a pregnant lady
In no particular order....
- You don't look pregnant!
(this does not make said pregnant lady feel good...not even a little bit.)
- You're pregnant?!?!
(no dumba$$, I'm just faking it)
- Do not, and I repeat do NOT touch the belly.
(If you know said pregnant lady well, and you know she won't care, that's fine, maybe, but still ask first.)
-You're huge (or big, or ginormous, etc)!!!!
(This is not a compliment and does not make her feel good. Along the lines of "You don't look pregnant")
**Addition: Do not give her a funny look when she orders a large chocolate shake from McDonalds...yes, it is for her, and yes, she is going to drink it all.
-Don't stare at the belly! Have you never seen a pregnant lady before?!
* Will update list as they happen, and please, if you have committed any of the above offences (as I know I have), don't feel bad, just don't do it again. ;-)

6 month update
A couple of days ago I was standing in the middle of a gym coaching a volleyball camp, and all of a sudden, I feel something in my belly...I look around (for/at who, I don' t know)...look down at my belly...I think Figgy just did a somersault! Then later that night, right before I was about to go to sleep, there was some kicking action going on, for sure! It was amazing!!! I think the baby had moved before (I think the "tickle, tickle" post was just gas, lol), I just wasn't sure. Now I KNOW what it feels like.
For those who who are interested...normally you feel movement sooner than 6 months. The Baby's placenta is in front (between the outside of my stomach, and the baby), so it takes a little longer to feel anything.
Last night we were laying in bed watching TV, and I glanced down at The Belly, and I swore I saw it moving. Just small movements, so I wasn't sure if it was just my eyes, or if it was really moving. I told Mike to look...he didn't see anything, so I told him to keep watching. All of a sudden we both said "WHOA!!"....We saw my stomach move! It was just...amazing! (I'm going to have to come up with a new word, besides "amazing", but it's true!) I couldn't feel anything, but definitely SAW it! I didn't know that could happen, but I have Mike to back me up, so I'm not crazy. Phew. :-)
I woke up this morning, and was trying to go back to sleep, and Figgy was giving Mama some karate chops...Didn't hurt, but I could tell there was a lot going on in there!
Times like this make feeling sick, being tired, being moody....all worth it.
